Conneaut, Ohio // 10-13 August
Evergreen Lake Park was in a small town on the shore of Lake Erie, the lake at the top of Niagara Falls. Our next destination was Chicago, so we were explored on our way further west. We found out the County Fair was on nearby, so spent a day there (and Claire and I returned that evening for the rodeo), stopped in for a swim at Lake Erie, and also had some relaxation/chore catch up time at the campsite.

Lake Erie… It was amazing to swim in Lake Erie! The water was calm, cool and clear, and the beach was grainy sand and smooth, flat rocks – perfect for skimming.
