We were at Valley View for almost a week, one of our longest stays. This was a chance to explore Salt Lake City as well as our first ‘big city’ stop in quite a while. Interestingly the Valley View area has one of the biggest airforce bases in the US. The jets roared overhead each day most likely on their way to the Utah Test and Training Range. The ski shops were also preparing for the season so we were lucky to have time to shop around a score some great second hand gear as the ski season would be in full swing by the time we returned to Salt Lake City.
Valley View was an almost brand new park. We loved the heated pool and spa, and the games room with pool table and table tennis. Great mountain views too, with a dusting of snow!
