Frisco, Colorado // 25, 26, 29 January, 2 February
We spent several days at Copper Mountain Resort (Claire and Robin a few more as they recovered first from our winter colds). Copper was about a half hour drive from Breckenridge via Frisco then through a picturesque alpine valley. They had easy parking and great shuttles that dropped us at one of the three resort areas. We got the shuttle to the furthest area then worked our way back during the day, ending at the area closest to the parking. We didn’t have much fresh snow for our time at Copper but there was a good base. We got to explore most of the mountain and Robin even took in some of the black runs.
