We spent a week in Washington DC, then travelled through beautiful Pennsylvania to New York City. What an experience! Then north to Boston (so much quieter) and west through picturesque New York State to visit Niagara Falls. Heading into the Mid West we skirted south of the Great Lakes to visit Chicago and onto Minnesota in time to catch the famous Minnesota State Fair.
