We were at Manatee Hammock for two nights to visit the Kennedy Space Center. Manatee Hammock is on the bank of the Indian River, across from Merritt Island. It was a lovely shaded campground with a pool and fishing pier. Very handy to visit Kennedy Space Center and nice to be in a more ‘camping-like’ campground after the busy RV parks we’d been at so far. We could see the huge Vehicle Assembly Building from our campsite!
