Utica, Illinois // 18-21 August
Quick one night stop at Starved Rock Family Campground, gorgeous spot next to a corn field. So peaceful and a great view! Then onto Sky High Camping Resort. This was a gorgeous spot among rolling hills, and next to a small local ski hill ( sadly no snow this time of year).
We arrived mid Saturday afternoon and this place was crazy 🤣. Kids everywhere and pool overflowing! The heat was back and the pool was the place to be. We had one day exploring the nearby Wisconsin Dells and relaxing at the campsite (which was super quiet by Sunday afternoon as the weekend crowds had disappeared!).
