Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah // 10-12 October
We were lucky to get a couple of nights at Dead Horse Point State Park. The location was stunning! Spacious campsites just a short walk from amazing views across the canyons and down to the Colorado River. We went for a short walk to explore as soon as we were set up. It was jaw-dropping! Our first experience of the desert. The State Park also borders Canyonlands National Park so it was super handy for our visit there.

Dead Horse Point… This is where cowboys would round up wild horses by driving them across the narrow access to this peninsula. It’s about a car and a half wide. These photos are from the end of Dead Horse Point looking out to the canyons beyond.
