Seeing as the snow had arrived we decided to test out our ski legs at Palisades Tahoe. It was on the opposite side of Lake Tahoe from our campground. The first day we drove round the west side of the lake and the second we took the east side route. Both were absolutely stunning. Palisades was not yet completely open as it was early in the season but we found some lovely greens and blues to warm up on. It was gorgeous skiing on the fresh snow, we’ve still got it! We also got to take the Tram to High Camp and visit the Olympic museum. The views from there were amazing!
