Robin, Claire and I spent a day at Arapahoe Basin Resort, also about half hour drive from Breckenridge via a very pretty mountain pass. The morning started off cool and windy but the skies cleared for the afternoon. A Basin had some lovely snow, some fun tree runs and a few very steep blues. It’s not a huge hill but very pretty as it has most runs in a front basin and a few over the back. There’s also mostly blues and blacks (we skipped most of the blacks) so we got to explore most of the mountain (that we wanted to ski).
