Elephant Butte // 14-16 February
We had a beautiful couple of nights at Elephant Butte Lake State Park. It was lovely to be by the water. As with every lake/reservoir we saw the water level was super low. There were lots of campers, people fishing and a few boats out in the water. The days were clear and the weather felt like spring. The campsites, like all State Parks, were very generous. We took the opportunity to take photos of the caravan getting ready to advertise it for sale as our trip was drawing to a close. Our most exciting find was spotting real life Roadrunners!
