Chicago, Illinois // 16 August
We took the train from Indiana Dunes into Chicago which was about a 1.5hr journey and super handy to drop us right in the heart of Chicago. First on our list was The Shedd Aquarium. We then walked along the lakefront through the parklands and towards the river, and did part of the Riverwalk. What a gorgeous city being by Lake Michigan. The protected harbour near the city was a lot calmer than near Indiana Dunes. It was stunning!
The Shedd Aquarium… The Beluga whales were the cutest! We also saw the dolphin show, visited the touch tanks and penguins, and saw hundreds of stunning displays. They even had Australian fish!
