Como Park has a free Zoo and Conservatory which we decided to check out. We were impressed they had such an extensive zoo open free to the public. As it was still summer break here it was very popular. We saw the lions being fed, checked out the giraffes and zebras, saw the polar bear and penguins, and watched the sea lion show. They also had lots of monkeys and gorillas, and some impressive flamingos. The conservatory was interesting to visit, we found several palms native to Brisbane, and enjoyed the Japanese garden.
After Como Park we headed to the Mall of America for lunch. This shopping center was huge, with a theme park in the middle! Crazy! It had an impressive Lego store and three-story M&M store, as well as pretty much every other store you could think of.
