Steamboat Springs, Colorado // 6, 10, 12 January
Steamboat Springs is a gorgeous little town. The historical part is well preserved with restaurants and touristy shops, and is walking distance to the local ski hill, Howelsen Hill. Howelsen Hill has one of the oldest ski jumps in the US and is home to many US Olympians, as well as having downhill runs, cross country trails and a tubing hill. The rodeo grounds and ice rink are also nearby. On the edge of town is Steamboat Ski Resort, conveniently serviced by frequent, free busses.
