Teton Village, Wyoming // 31 December, 1, 3 January
Our first day in Jackson Hole was New Years Eve. We decided to go explore the mountain resort (on foot). We figured out the parking and shuttles, found the gondolas and lunch spots, and wandered around the village. Then we took the Tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain at 10,450 feet to take in the views of the Tetons.
We had two ski days at Jackson Hole, unfortunately no new snow but there was a good base. There’s a solid little beginner area, and lots of steep intermediate and advanced terrain. Robin and the kids ventured to a lot of the blue funds but after a quick sample I decided they were a bit steep for me. With a bit more fresh snow they’d be great, but at the time they were a bit hard packed and fast for me.
