Salt Lake City, Utah // 4 October
Downtown Salt Lake City is very nice to explore. We wandered through Downtown and the Temple Square area and walked up to the State Capitol. There were a lot of renovations happening to the church buildings but we did get to visit the Tabernacle which was very impressive. The church also has a huge convention center (where we parked). Salt Lake City is on a very pretty spot surrounded by mountains but there’s a lot of industry along the lake shore. The State Capitol building was super impressive. On the hilltop (of course) the building was very grand and had great views across the city and to the mountains.
