Two Medicine, Montana // 14 September
For our last day at Glacier we had a hike planned at Two Medicine. The boats were still running at Two Medicine lake and we were lucky to grab some tickets. We took the opportunity to hike the South Shore Trail (approx. 5km) to the other end of Two Medicine lake and catch the boat back. The hike was stunning and we had perfect weather, clear and cool.
We stopped for snacks at a waterfall and afterwards met some hikers who had spotted two moose. Very exciting but also a bit scary, luckily the moose were moving off in the other direction. No way we would have heard/seen them on our own. There were two, a male and a female. They were huge! We stayed quiet and kept our distance.

At the end of the trail we waited for the return boat and chatted with other hikers. We were the last ones to make it on that boat so got to stand out the front!
