Wabasha, Minnesota \/\/ 22 August <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stopped in Wabasha to visit the National Eagle Center (Robin and the kids made fun of me but it was worth it!). The National Eagle Center is on the bank of the Mississippi (the far north stretch, not far from where it begins) where hundreds of Bald Eagles migrate for the winter as this spot of the Mississippi doesn\u2019t fully freeze over. We learned about Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles, and got to get up close to some of their rescued Bald Eagles. It was sooo cool to see these huge birds up close, when we\u2019ve seen them circling high above us so often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
