Originally we were starting in January. We tried both clockwise and anticlockwise loops, adjusted again for June start, and made some tweaks to ensure we\u2019ll be in the snow for Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018final\u2019 route is a result of a lot of research (lists, notes and images saved in Trello) and a lot of smarts from the planning tool we chose, Furkot. We\u2019re hitting our major destinations in the right season and generally out of peak periods. We\u2019ve allowed for flexibility as we\u2019re sure there will be tweaks we\u2019ll want to make along the way.
